We invite you to enjoy the beach with us at Grant Park Beach in South Milwaukee.

With a sandy beach, picnic tables, large grassy areas, a jungle gym, bike trails, jet skiing (Jet Ski the Lake Front), and a nearby river, the possibilities for outdoor activities are endless.  Bring the family, friends, or just yourself.

Free parking is available.

Bathrooms and changing facilities are located within the building.

Brief History

In 1894, the Flowle Family purchased the land that is now Grant Park and built the house that is now the Clubhouse shortly thereafter.  Milwaukee County bought the land in 1910 employing the gifted arborist and horticulturist Frederick Wulff, whose work included developing a nursery, orchard and greenhouse, as well as planning the Seven Bridges Trail.

Grant Park is part of the Oak Leaf Trail, is the 2nd largest county park in Wisconsin, and has the most wildflowers and the highest bluffs on the wester shore of Lake Michigan.

While you are at the beach, why not grab something to eat?  We've taken our most popular regular menu items and have also added a few other items to make your beach experience more complete.

	Wisconsin Fried Cheese Curds™   Real Wisconsin white cheddar cheese curds dipped in a breaded beer batter and deep fried, all with Zero grams of trans fat; $5.00
	Regular Cheese Curds   Real Wisconsin mixed cheddar cheese curds in a vacuum sealed bag, 4 oz. ($3.50) or 12 oz. ($6.00)
	Grilled Cheese Sandwiches and with Bacon   Choose between two delicious grilled cheese sandwiches made with Real Wisconsin mild yellow cheddar cheese melted between two lightly golden toasted pieces of bread and/or top it off with two strips of bacon; $3.00, $4.00
	String Cheese    Choose between an individual piece or a four pack of Real Wisconsin mozzarella cheese; $1.00, $3.00
	Dipping Sauces   Choose between ranch sauce, marinara sauce, or honey mustard to dip your Wisconsin Fried Cheese Curds™ or grilled cheese sandwich; $1.00
	Giant Pickle-in-a-Pouch   A Wisconsin pickle--your choice: Big Papa (dill flavored), Hot Mama (hot flavored), or Garlic Gus (garlic flavored); $2.00
	Hot Dog   Not a typical item that we feature at our various events, but we're on the beach, so we needed to add this to our menu to enhance your beach experience!  Enjoy an all-beef dog! $2.50
	Popcorn   Again, not a menu item that you will find when we're at an event, but that you will find us serving at the beach; choose from two sizes: small ($2.50) or large ($4.00)
	The Original Cow Pie   A Wisconsin candy bar in the shape of a cow pie, made with real rich milk chocolate, creamy caramel, and fresh pecans; Choose between the mini or the large!  $0.75, $3.00.
	Cold Bottled Sodas, Water, and Juices   Beat the heat and/or your thirst and grab a cold bottled beverage; $2.50
	Lemonade Freeze   Quench your thirst and put yourself into a deep freeze with our specialty Lemonade Freeze Slushie; Choose between two sizes: medium ($3.00) or large ($5.00)
	Chips   Not an item that we feature at events, but works well at the beach!  Enjoy a personal size bag of chips with your hot dog; $1.50
	Candy   The perfect snack on the beach, choose between a wide variety of candy and candy bars and enjoy as a snack or as a dessert; $1.50. Cotton Candy: $3.00
	Cookies   Not a featured item from our event menu, you will only find this giant cookie on the beach!  Enjoy this fully loaded chocolate chip cookie as a snack or as part of your beach meal; $1.50
	Vanilla Nutty Sundae Ice Cream Cone   Cool off with an ice cream treat that we only feature at the beach!  $3.00
	FrozFruit Chunky Bars (Strawberry, Mango, or Pineapple)   Your choice! Cool off with a popsicle made with real fruit and juices that we only feature at the beach!  $2.50
